In a recent tweet by Nintendo they had said,

“Though originally scheduled for 2016, the release of the latest “The Legend Of Zelda” title is postponed until 2017, to allow further improvement of quality. Thank you for understanding.”

Nintendo also confirmed that the next Legend Of Zelda title will also be coming to it’s new console, the NX which was confirmed to release globally March 2017. The NX version of the new Legend Of Zelda title will release simultaneously with the Wii U version of the game.

During E3 this year Nintendo has stated that their primary focus will be on the new upcoming game in the Legend Of Zelda series. The Wii U version of the game will be playable for the first time on the E3 show floor and it will be the only playable game that Nintendo presents at E3 this year.

The NX will not make an appearance at E3 in June and will be unveiled later this year.

We don’t know what else Nintendo has planned for E3, but stay tuned for more information in the future.

I myself don’t mind as much about the delay. If they need a little more time to make this game amazing then by all means. What do you guys think about the new Legend Of Zelda title being delayed once again? How do you guys feel about the “NX” console? Let us know in the comments below.

I love video games! I like everything Nintendo, especially Pokemon and Legend Of Zelda. I have been playing video games for as long as I can remember and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. I also enjoy watching anime, and playing guitar/piano.
