Ubisoft have revealed the details for For Honor’s upcoming closed alpha. The closed alpha is set to show off the early stages of the game’s multiplayer content. Being a closed alpha only a select number of individuals will make it into For Honor’s alpha, which will provide feedback for the game and help to start assessing stability.
Players in the alpha will have access to the four previously revealed warriors from the Knight, Viking and Samurai factions; Kenshei, Orochi, Warden and Raider. But the alpha will also feature two new warriors; Conqueror and Berserker. Each hero has their own set of skills, armour, weapons and fighting style as well as being customisable. The alpha will also give players access to the game’s progression system, which allows for the unlocking of new abilities, weapons, armour and cosmetics.
The alpha will have 3 of the 5 modes available to play. These include; Duel (1v1), Brawl (2v2) and Dominion (4v4). Each mode has different maps allowing players to develop different tactics for each mode. The alpha is set to start from September 15th to September 18th for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Are you looking forward to For Honor? I am, but some friends I’ve spoken to are worried about the way the fighting style will work. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments!
