Ubisoft have announced and provided some details about Year 3 of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which will bring with it some exciting and thrilling challenges to its fans. The announcement comes after naming ENCE the champions of the games Season 3 Pro League in Sao Paulo.

Year 3 will be structured into four Seasons, and will bring;

  • 8 new operators from the world’s highly performing CTUs
  • 2 brand new maps set in Italy and Morocco
  • 1 existing map make over with a new level design and art direction

This Seasons two operators will be specialists in biohazard situations. These characters will be playable in the multiplayer, but will also introduce the games first co-op event ever, names Outbreak – in this event they will have to face a major threat. Outbreak will be playable during the 4 weeks for free for Rainbow Six Siege owners. This event will also feature an exclusive collection of cosmetics, which will only be available during the period of the event.

The full reveal of Operation Chimera and Outbreak will take place in Montreal at the Six Invitational 2018. More information on Year 3 will be coming soon.

Year 3 Pass will be available for purchase on December 12th.
