Fable Legends Could Still Move Forward

Reading Time: < 1 minute Last month saw Microsoft announcing the closure of Lionhead Studios and with it the cancellation of the free to play RPG Fable Legends. Fable Legends Cancelled

Reading Time: < 1 minute An official announcement from Microsoft has confirmed that Fable Legends will in fact be cancelled. On top of the cancelation, LionHead studios may also be closing it’s doors.   “After much consideration we have decided to cease development on Fable Legends, and are in discussions with employees about the proposed closure of Lionhead Studios in the UK,” Hanno Lemke explained. Lionhead is a  British studio founded by Peter Molyneux in 1996. Lionhead has developed acclaimed titles in the Black & White and Fable series.     


Screenshot Shows Fable Legends Microtransactions

Reading Time: < 1 minute A leaked screenshot from a closed-beta tester for Fable Legends has shown the prices of the game’s microtransactions.  Fable Legends is a free-to=play game, and like most free-to-play game (somewhat) understandably contains micro-transactions. On a Reddit post someone, who apparently was on the closed beta, posted a screenshot from The Bank of Brightlodge showing the prices of the games microtransactions (shown below).  This is apparently what is for sale:  Pound of Gold (850 pieces) — $5 Mark of Gold (1850 pieces) — $10 Stone of Gold (2850 pieces) – $15 Hundredweight of Gold (6000 pieces) – $30 Ton of Gold […]

The Beta was supposed to launch this Holiday, but has been pushed back to Spring 2016 some time. The decision was announced Monday after feedback from the closed Beta had been received. “Fable Legends is coming together well and it’s a lot of fun, but we think that we can make it even better.
