Team Meat, the team behind the popular Super Meat Boy, have revealed some new gameplay for the hit game's sequel Super Meat Boy Forever

Team Meat, the studio behind the much loved Super Meat Boy, have revealed new gameplay for the highly anticipated sequel. The Super Meat Boy Forever gameplay was revealed during a 10th anniversary stream, and showed off the first four chapters of the game.

The gameplay showed off the first four chapters of the game, as well as both the light and dark worlds. There was also information about the New Game Plus system, as well as some other surprises. The full stream is embedded below for those who are interested.

The game features Meat Boy and his partner Bandage Girl, as well as their child Nugget. Nugget has been kidnapped and so Meat Boy and Bandage Girl, as well as some other characters from the franchise, set out to rescue them. Meat Boy is also now equipped with a gigantic right hand to pummel his enemies, along with new maneuvers to help him in his journey.

While we currently still have no release date for the sequel the team have promised that the game will release “when it’s ready”. The current plan is for a release on Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Let us know in the comments below what you think, or tweet us @games_bulletin!
