Think of Star Wars and you think of The Death Star. You have to, it’s the law. There is always one just around the corner waiting to destroy a planet full of rebel scum before it gets evaporated. But it will get Evaporated. Over and over and over again. Who designed this WMD so poorly that one floppy haired farm boy can bring the entire empire to its knees without even using his targeting computer? One thing’s for sure, I hope Emperor Palpatine kept the receipt. Anyway, how do you fancy a go at being Luke Skywalker and i don’t mean kissing your sister.
Star Wars: Battlefront’s new Death Star DLC is releasing next week to season pass holders and it includes two new heroes, five new maps and a new gameplay mode. What heroes you ask? Everyones favourite Wookie, Chewbacca and Bossk the bounty hunter. The Death Star’s interior is one of the new maps but it’s the outside of the Death Star that’s inportant. That’s where Battle Station comes in. Battle Station is the new gameplay mode that isn’t thet new if you really think about it. It puts you in Lukes X-Wing as you fly down the trench and look for the all important vent. They’ve been making games about doing just that since 1980. Check out the trailer below.
New guys Chewbacca and Bossk get some unique abilities. Chewie gets his signiture Bowcaster and he also does his Wookie roar that buffs nearby teammates. Bossk gets heat vision like the Predator so he can see where all targets are on the map.
