The upcoming Sherlock Holmes game, Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, has gotten a new trailer and the gameplay looks pretty impressive. The trailer reveal was also accompanied by some screenshots.

Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter features a some-what open world that players travel between using horse and carriage. However this unfortunately doesn’t involve driving and seems to only show a loading screen. The map features several districts in Sherlock’s town of London.

The game will also feature other playable characters. The trailer shows a young lad named Wiggins who helps the legendary detective¬†by tailing¬†a person of interest to Sherlock. The game will allows players to switch to a first-person perspective at any time. Players may have to perform a “skill-based activity” from time-to-time such as eavesdropping. However for those who want to just enjoy the game these can be turned off.

A trailer for the game, as well as a gallery of screenshots, is available below.

What do you guys think of this Sherlock game? I’ve never personally played a Holmes game but this has caught my interest. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
