Reading Time: 2 minutes

A press release has revealed that Persona 5 will launch in Europe on February 14th 2017. The game is only available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. However the PS4 variant does come available in two versions.

There is the Steelbook Launch Edition which offers a copy of Persona 5 and a collectible steelbook case. This version will cost £54.99. For those die hard Persona fans there is also the “Take Your Heart” Premium Edition. This Premium Edition comes with the game and the steelbook case, as well as a copy of Persona 5’s soundtrack, a 4 inch Morgana plush, a 64 page hardcover art book, a school bag and a collectible outer box. This edition will cost £79.99. Those of you who haven’t upgraded to current gen can grab the game in a standard case for £39.99.

Persona 5 follows the story of a group of high school students, consisting of the protagonist and companions he meets during the game’s story, who all live dual lives as Phantom Thieves. By day they are your average students, but by night they go on adventures using supernatural powers to enter the hearts of others. By confronting the mask society forces them to wear, the heroes can finally unleash their hidden power and help those in need.

I have never personally played a Persona game, but I know a few people who love the series. I was looking to get into the series, and this instalment promises to be playable to veterans of the series as well as newcomers. Also, that Premium Edition is amazing value. Like wow seriously!

What do you think of Persona? Will you be buying the Premium Edition? Let us know in the comments below!
