Blizzard has announced that the Overwatch open beta will be extended by one day. The beta will now end on May 10 at 10:00 am PDT in all regions.

For everyone that is enjoying the Overwatch beta good news, Blizzard has announced that the beta will be extended by one day. The beta had been previously scheduled to end on March 9, but now everyone can enjoy the Overwatch open beta until May 10.

Blizzard had stated in their forums,

“We hope everyone has been enjoying the Overwatch open beta. We certainly have. We’ve loved being able to play alongside you on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Over the last week we have had the opportunity to listen to your thoughts and opinions on the game; make improvements based on your reports in these very forums, and collect invaluable data just from you playing normally.


Blizzard had also stated that the open beta has attracted “millions” of players.

“We couldn’t be more grateful. So, as a small way of saying thank to the community and the millions of players that have been apart of the open beta, we will be extending the beta by one day on all platforms. This means the beta will now conclude on May 10 at 10:00 am PDT in all regions.

Overwatch will launch on May 24th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
