Nintendo have announced that Pokkén Tournament DX will have its own invitational tournament at E3 2017. The Nintendo Switch re-release will be joining Arms and Splatoon 2 next week at Nintendo’s booth and fans around the world can watch the action live on Twitch or on Nintendo’s website.

The Pokkén Tournament DX competition will see 8 Youtube and Twitch stars compete against each other in a random draft, with 2 to a team. To mix things up a little, the first player will only be able to pick a new character and the other will only be able to use one of the original lineup.

Splatoon 2, dubbed the World Inkling Invitational will see four, four person teams from the United States, Japan, Europe and Australia/New Zealand in a round-robin Turf War tournament. After this preliminary round, teams will battle in the game’s Ranked Battle modes.

Arms will see four professional competitive fighting game players take on four E3 attendees who rise to the top by competing in Nintendo’s booth, giving the public a chance to get in on the battle. Competitors will compete for prizes such as engraved trophies, signed artwork or champion belts across the 3 titles.
