Today saw the worldwide release of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, a new mobile adventure based on the long running franchise for Android and IOS. The game is published by Square Enix and comes from Brave Frontier developers, A-Lim.

Brave Exvius launched back in October in Japan and has proved a hit with over 6 million downloads so far. It is described as a brand new adventure and gameplay revolves around tapping to attack and use magical abilities and exploring dungeons and other areas. You can also team up with other characters from the franchise that fans may recognise, such as Cecil Harvey. Espers will also return and series staples, Shiva and Ifrit will make an appearance. Brave Exvius is available to download for free, although it does include in-app purchases.

In other Final Fantasy related news, it will be getting the monopoly treatment like many other games and franchises before it. The board game will play like the Monopoly but the board, tokens, deed cards, houses, and hotels will all be based around the 1997 classic, Final Fantasy VII. It is available now to preorder at merchiod.com and will retail at £38/$50.
