2K has announced that NBA 2K21 will be releasing on September 4th on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. 2K Sports has also revealed the next-gen standard edition of the 2K21 will be a whopping $70. This makes the latest 2k game one of the first next-gen releases to be at this price point, putting it $10 above the normal $60 price of new games.
This has brought up the question if next-gen games will ship at $70. 2K has come out and said that they will be doing more with the next-gen version than a simple upgrade. The game will be built from the ground up, utilizing the power of the Xbox Series X and PS5.
