Monster Hunter Generations Gets Free DLC

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Monster Hunter Generations is to offer free DLC after it releases this month which will allow players to use costumes based on characters from other Nintendo titles. The first of these will be Link in his toon style from the Wind Waker.

The video above shows the new costume which can be used to dress your Palico up to look like the iconic green hero. The video shows Link with the Master Sword and a Hylian shield on his back although he doesn’t appear to be able to use them in game. He does however use his classic spin attack, suggesting this will be available.

There’s no word on when the Link DLC will be released, but it will be free and will be the first of many. Other franchises confirmed for DLC include Fire Emblem, Mega Man, Okami and Strider.
