LucidSound Announces Shipping Of Flagship Headset

LucidSound announced the shipping of the LS40 Wireless Surround Universal Gaming Headset.

This multiplatform gaming headset, first announced at E3 2016, is now available at LucidSound’s website, joining the few available 7.1 surround sound models compatible with most gaming platforms:

LucidSound audio engineers to deliver spatially accurate, audiophile-grade 7.1 surround sound. In addition, gamers can select between two surround-sound modes (movie and gaming) and three enhanced stereo modes, (regular, wide and front speaker) to further customise their audio preference.

Some of the LS40’s features are:

  • 2 Surround Modes: Gaming Surround, Boosted Surround
  • Built-in rechargeable battery with a 15-hour battery life
  • Control volume of games, music and calls on the earcup
  • Detachable boom mic and integrated mic
  • Mobile controls

The headset is compatible with PS3, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Mobile. In the case of Xbox One, it may require an additional audio adapter depending on what controller you’re using.

The LS40 7.1 Surround Sound Universal Gaming Headset is available for 199.99 USD (162 GBP.)
