2014 was the year the gaming world first saw Suda 51’s PS4 exclusive free-to-play brawler Let It Die. Not much has been seen of the game since, but publisher GungHo Online Entertainment have revealed that the game is still on track for a 2016 release, and the game will even be playable at PAX East next week.
The game has an interesting mechanic to it, it isn’t a generic fighter but is described as a “survival action game”. In Let It Die players fight against AI opponents whose behaviour is based on the behaviour of actual players. Should the player die, the character (and any equipment that is equipped) will become an enemy in another player’s game.
To celebrate the announcement of Let It Die’s progress Gungho have released some screenshots and a PAX announcement trailer. All are available below.
