Tripwire Interactive have revealed new assets prior to the release of Killing Floor 2 on Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro. The game has been available in Early Access on Steam for a while now, but today is the first time footage and screenshots from the PlayStation 4 version of the game have become available. Naturally they are on Sony’s upcoming console, the PlayStation 4 Pro.

The game is available on both PlayStation consoles but, due to superior hardware, the PlayStation 4 Pro version of Killing Floor 2 has some enhancements compared to the normal PlayStation 4 version. Namely:

  • 1800p checkboard rendering on 4K TV (3200×1800) optimized for 4K TVs
  • Effectively supersampling and increased fps on HDTV
  • Using additional memory to increased texture resolution to “Ultra Textures”

Killing Floor 2 will be available worldwide for PS4, PS4 Pro and PC on 18th November. Are you looking forward to this game’s release? Killing Floor 2 looks fun, but only when plying with friends. I can imagine single player becoming tedious. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! The PS4 Pro footage trailer can be found below.
