Hitman 3, the upcoming stealth shooter from IO Interactive, has received a new gameplay trailer as well as more information on Hitman 3 VR. For the first time, you will be able to play Hitman from an entirely different perspective. This VR focused trailer shows off how some of the gunplay, assassinations, trailing enemies, as well as what the world of Hitman 3 will look like through the eyes of Agent 47. You can view this new VR gameplay trailer here on the official Hitman YouTube channel, but be warned it is age-gated.
One of the most exciting bits of new information is all of the missions from the first two Hitman games will be available and completely in VR. Players who do already own these games will be able to import maps, levels, and their progression to Hitman 3.
This VR trailer also gave us a look at the Deluxe Edition for this game. This deluxe edition will include new outfits for Agent 47, a digital book from the World of Hitman, a digital soundtrack, and director commentary mission introduction. Along with that, we also got some new screenshots from Hitman 3. These screenshots show off some of the beautiful new locals the player will be visiting. Some of these include; Dubai, Dartmoor, Berlin, and Chongquing.
Hitman 3 will be releasing on January 20th for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, Stadia, Nintendo Switch via streaming, and PC via the Epic Games store.
