Halo 5’s campaign mode will be receiving some new updates and changes according to Developer 343 Industries. The game will be getting some changes to the difficulty as well as tweaks to enemies and weapons.
In a post on Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries designer Chris Proctor explained,”Having had a few months to digest player feedback, reviews, let’s play videos and internal feedback, I’ve been working on an update to Halo 5’s campaign balance, aiming to address parts of the game that players yelled at us about, or that bugged me and the rest of the team enough to address even without external feedback.”
Proctor went on to say, ”I took the opportunity to touch global difficulty tuning and address areas where Halo 5’s difficulty was spiky, too easy or inconsistent.” This will come in the form of reducing the two-player difficulty slightly and increasing the single-player difficulty. Also, a range of AI weapons have damage tweaks and the Warden attacks will be a little easier to dodge.
