Grand Theft Auto V will be receiving an update in July, this time giving players the chance to run their own nightclubs in GTA Online.

Even after 5 years on the market, GTA Online has been receiving a steady stream of support and updates and is showing no plans of slowing down. Rockstar have given fans a glimpse of the newest feature and have stated that players will have to design the club, recruit staff and promote it although the full particulars have yet to be released. Rockstar have also revealed that the nightclubs will feature new music from a range of artists including The Black Madonna, Solomun, Dixon and Tale Of Us.

In a post on Rockstar’s website, the new boost to Los Santos night life is explained in more detail:

“Nightclubs are the perfect cover for any other operation you might have going, so get in on the ground level as a business partner to open up a brand new establishment, and help the DJ’s make their shows the best ever. Run your nightclub business from setup, design, staffing and promotion; the more popular the club, the faster your secure wall safe will fill up. “

Those itching to dip their toe into GTA nightlife can join the “guest list” by logging in to GTA Online from now to July 2. Those who do will earn GTA$300,000 and an exclusive Orange Wireframe Bodysuit. If that wasn’t enough, those on the guest list will weekly login bonuses later in July. Some of the bonuses Rockstar outlined on its blog include:

  • Bonus cash each week ranging between GTA$100,000 to GTA$350,000
  • Exclusive discounts on forthcoming vehicles.
  • Exclusive liveries on new vehicles like the Ocelot Swinger classic sports car
  • New nightclub themed t-shirts

It’s always nice to see games receiving continued support, especially after being out for so long. Will you be heading back to Los Santos to start a nightclub or did you never leave? Let us know in the comments section below or drop us a Tweet!
