For Honor has introduced a brand new training mode this week, as part of a free update on all platforms. The mode will offer new ways for both Newbies and Pros to hone their skills before battling it out for glory!
The Apprentice and Warrior trials can be used for newcomers to cut their teeth, getting accustomed to the controls and learning both simple and more complicated techniques before battling other players. Progression can be measures with a grading system allowing players to improve their skills to aim for higher and higher grades. Those with a little more experience may want to start with the Training Arena which allows players to customise their opponents with specific styles or move sets in order to beat out any kinks they may have in their abilities. The update will also introduce an in-game library for tutorials called the Training Media which will include videos on game modes, the faction war and in-game features.
The update comes as part of For Honor’s Season 5, which celebrates a year since the games release. With three different in-game events, two free weekends and more than 5,000 pieces of new content added the For Honor doesn’t seem to be showing any signs of slowing down!Do any of you out there find the game a little more appealing now there is a training mode?
