Berzerk Studio, a studio known for their Flash games, has announced a collection of these Flash titles. Flash Player, which initially released in 1996, has officially stopped. But for Berzerk Studio, developers of games such as Just Shapes & Beats, the end of Flash signalled the end of an era almost. The Flashback Collection is a collection of many of their most popular games, 26 in total.
Games on the collection include Mechanical Commando 1 & 2, Gunbot, Swordless Ninja, Rocket Santa, and more. Eight of the titles in the collection have never even been released before. Frantic Frigates 2 and the prototype for Just Shapes & Beats are just two fo these titles. The Flashback Collection games have all been ported, with all items unlocked and no ads! The game even has a story mode, that will present the games to you in the order in which they were developed. There is also multiplayer support for games which had multiplayer.
Flashback Collection releases February 9th for $9.99. And for me, Flash games were a massive part of growing up. I spent many an hour in IT class trying to sneakily play them, rather than actually doing any work. Do you have any memories of playing Flash games? Let us know in the comments below!
