Fallout 4’s new expansion “Far Harbor” received a new trailer and release date today. This expansion is set in a post-apocalyptic version of Bar Harbor, one of Maine’s popular tourist destinations. This location is the largest landmass Bethesda has ever made for an expansion.
“In Far Harbor, a new case from Valentines Detective Agency leads you on a search for a young women and a secret colony of synths. Travel off the coast of Maine to the mysterious island of Far Harbor, where high levels of radiation have created a feral world. Navigate through the growing conflict between the synths, the Children of Atom, and the local townspeople. Will you work toward bringing peace to Far Harbor, and at what cost.”
This expansion will include more quests to take on and settlements to explore. There are also new lethal creatures, some of which are showcased in the new trailer. The expansion is also said to add new higher level armor and weapons, no specifics on what those will be have been announced yet.
This expansion will be $25 and is also included in the $50 Fallout 4 Season Pass. The first Fallout 4 expansion was Automatron, which was released in March. This was followed by Wasteland Workshop in April.
