Everything Shown At Ubisoft’s E3 Presentation

Reading Time: 2 minutes

When E3 rolls around the focus is always on Microsoft vs Sony, and the other presentations often get thrown to the side. However Ubisoft’s presentation was pretty solid in my opinion. So let’s journey through this.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

Let’s start with the strangest one. It’s as the title suggests. Mario. With Raving Rabbids. The game is a mix of open-world exploring and turn-based tactics. Yes, it’s weird. But in a strange kind of way it actually looks entertaining. The game is due out for the Switch on 29th August.

The Crew 2

The Crew 2 was shown off in the presentation. The game is back and bigger, featuring; cars, boats, planes, dirtbikes, buggies! All shown off in the trailer below!

This. This we honestly know nothing about. It’s from SpectreVision, a company that have specialised in VR in the film world and have decided to move over to the world of gaming. SpectreVision were co-founded by Elijah Wood (if that’s something that matters to you) and the game looks creepy but no gameplay so hold your breath. Coming Spring 2018.

Skull & Bones

A pirate game from Ubi that pits teams of 5 players against one another to obtain the most loot. Each ship has it’s own qualities (one is a tank, one is a battering ram) that comes with it’s own playstyle. As the round ends pirate hunters enter and target the player with the most loot, at which point you must escape.

Starlink: Battle For Atlas

A game that tasks the player with taking on enemy forces. Players connect a toy ship to their controller that they can modify on the fly (huh?!?!?!) to change their ship to the situation at hand and adapt. Due 2018 for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Far Cry 5

Far Cry 5 got a gameplay trailer. It’s more of what made people fall in love with Far Cry, except now with a dog that fights people for you. Trailer below, due 27th February.

Beyond Good And Evil 2

This was by far the stand out of the presentation. The game, even though titled 2, is a prequel to the 2003 much loved game. This is simply an announcement trailer and so it will more than likely be a while before we see any gameplay, but yes it does exist.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

New trailer. Available 17th October for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Just Dance 2018

Officially announced. Releasing 26th October 2017 for Xbox ONe, Kinect for 360, Wii, WiiU, Nintendo Switch and PS3/PS4.

South Park: Phone Destroyer

South Park is getting a mobile game sometime this year for iPhone and Android.

Steep is getting an Olympics expansion 5th December.
