The Doom beta has seen a good amount of feedback and Id software has announced that they are extending the Doom beta for another 24 hours.

With the extreme popularity of the Doom beta id Software has announced that it is giving players an extra day to play Doom’s open beta. The beta was scheduled to end today, April 17, ┬ábut it was extended for 24 hours. The beta will now end at 11:58 EST on Monday April 18.

The Doom beta will allow players to play 6v6 Team deathmatch and Warpath modes on the maps Heatwave and Infernal. The beta gives players a multitude of different weapons and equipment and the ability to turn into the “Revenant” demon when picking up a “Demon Rune.”


Dooms open beta started on April 15 and if you haven’t had the chance to check it out you now have an extra day to try the intense action of Doom. Doom is set to release on May 13th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
