Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed once again from September 17th to November 19th. Cyberpunk 2077 is an action-adventure open-world game developed by CD Projekt Red.
Official Delay Statement
CD Projekt Red states that “Ready when it’s done is not just a phrase because it sounds right, its something we live by even when we know we’ll take the heat for it.” This game was first announced back in May of 2012 and was pretty radio silent until a couple of years ago. I imagine the hype around this game and the success of the studio has led CD Projekt Red to delay the game to make it perfect for consumers.
Even though they state that they believe that the delay is the best decision, they come out and apologize for making people wait any longer for this game. “We intend to make Cyberpunk 2077 something that will stay with you for years to come. In the end, we hope you understand why we did what we did”.
With the Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red built on their amazing world giving players more and more content to experience. The series was so successful we even saw a netflix adaptation of the Witcher. I am not worried that Cyberpunk 2077 will be something we will be playing and talking about for years to come.

Even though Cyberpunk 2077 has been confirmed for the next-gen consoles, we do not know the exact release date of these versions. How do you all feel about this delay?
