As reported by Gamasutra, CD Projekt has reported estimated their revenue and profit from 2020. CD Projekt, developer of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher series, is due to officially report their revenue on Monday. The tweet, which you can see below, reports that the company made 2.139 billion PLN in sales revenue, and consolidated net profit of 1.154 billion PLN.

This converts to $562.4 million and $303.6 million, respectively. Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad states that this is a considerable jump from previous years. It’s safe to assume that this boost in revenue was from the release of Cyberpunk 2077. The game had a very financially successful launch, with over 8 million preorders reported. However, the game’s launch very quickly became rocky, to say the least. Numerous gamers began reporting numerous bugs and glitches which ultimately ended with Xbox and PlayStation pulling the game from their stores.

The official report Monday will be interesting to see, but it appears that even with the rocky situation surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 CD Projekt still made a killing. Let us know how you feel about this in the comments below, or tweet us @games_bulletin!
