The next installment of Activision’s Call of Duty series will reportedly be called, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The new game will also come with a remastered version of the original Modern Warfare game. All of this information is from a leaked image posted on Reddit.

The image shows the cover for a Legacy Edition of the game and states the package “also includes” Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

Although Activision and Infinity Ward have not officially revealed the game yet, a listing for it appeared on the PlayStation Store. Activision usually¬†reveals it’s new Call of Duty games around April or May,¬†so an announcement may be in the near future.

Activision will not have their own booth on the E3 floor this year, but will instead showcase it’s latest games with partners like Sony PlayStation. The next entry in the Call of Duty series will be at Sony’s booth.

Overall, there has been very little information released regarding the new Call of Duty, other than the fact that it is apparently “innovative”. I, myself, have not played a Call of Duty game since Modern Warfare, but if they are going back to Modern Warfare…maybe..just maybe I will be a fan again. What do you guys think? Let us know below!
