During an earnings call yesterday EA shed some light on what can be expected from Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed that the game will be releasing in the holiday season of this year. It was promised to be bigger than the 2015 Battlefront, with more locations and heroes to choose from. It was also revealed that Battlefront 2 will feature a single player campaign.
What’s more interesting to me is that the game will feature content from several eras of Star Wars. During the call, Wilson mentioned The Force Awakens and Rogue One as films that expanded the universe but did not state that characters and locations from these films would be in the game. During the call it was also confirmed that DICE, Motive Studios and Criterion will be making Battlefront.
Personally I wasn’t a fan of the 2015 Battlefront. It was fun to play at first but it felt that there just wasn’t enough content. What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to a single player Battlefront campaign? Let us know in the comments section below, or tweet us @games_bulletin.
