Telltale have released some first-look screenshots for their upcoming title, Batman – The Telltale Series. The game will be arriving in the summer and will be episodic in the style of Telltale’s other titles.

Batman – The Telltale Series will premiere digitally on consoles and PC/Mac and will also be coming to mobile devices. The game will also be available in the form of a ‘season pass disc’ which will grant access to all five episodes as they are released.
For those who haven’t heard about the title until now, Telltale’s website has said the player’s actions will help shape the Gotham that Bruce deals with during the day, as well as the criminals that Batman faces at night. Certain characters will have personal relationships with Bruce in his private life which will help shape his path towards redemption or corruption. More on this first report can be found in Games Bulletin’s earlier post.
Telltale’s CEO Kevin Bruner added:
“The complex life and fractured psyche of Bruce Wayne has lent itself to becoming a bold evolution of the signature ‘Telltale’ role-playing experience, and we couldn’t be more excited as we prepare to debut the series to players across the world this summer.”

As the screenshots above have shown, the game will keep to a comic book style with a cel-shaded look to the characters as opposed to realism. Character’s that have been announced so far include Harvey Dent, Vicki Valem Alfred Pennyworth, James Gordon, Carmine Falcone and Selina Kyle.
More information will be released when the game premieres at E3 this week so watch this space!
