According to a recent blog post from Capcom a big punishment is being put in place for those who rage quit while playing Street Fighter V online, although no mention of what the punishment would be. No exact start date was given for a permanent solution, but one is reportedly in the works.

“We are working on a permanent solution to this problem, though we don’t have an exact date to share with you at the moment. That said, we are going to take direct action starting next week to punish those players who are abusing the system.”

The blog post, which went up Friday, also asked players to share any rage quitting they encountered, so hopefully that serves to help Capcom solve this issue. The main reason people rage quit the game is that doing so retains the players League Points and their win streaks.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens in terms of Capcom dealing with this issue, and Games Bulletin will update you as this unfolds.
