Ubisoft Announce Custom AC Yeezy Sneakers For Competition Winners

I’m not entirely sure this is something the world needed but here we are. Ubisoft have announced the “ACO Kicks”; a partnership between Ubisoft and Dominic Lowman (of Carmeno Custom Kicks). The partnership has given birth to 16 pairs of Assassin’s Creed Origins themed Yeezy sneakers.

“The sneaker design takes inspiration from the historical setting of the latest instalment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise – marrying the modern world of popular culture with Ancient Egypt in a world first. The collaboration saw Lowman researching and exploring the ancient, in-game world created by Ubisoft’s development team in Montreal, before transforming and applying these themes into his bespoke Yeezy design.

With a focus on Bayek, the lead character in Assassin’s Creed Origins, Lowman has produced a distinctive design available in white, and a black edition to reflect the overall design of the latest instalment in the franchise.”

The sneakers will only be available to competition winners. The competition is yet to be announced, but will soon be announced across Ubisoft’s social media channels. I’m honestly not sure why I’m reporting this. Apparently Yeezy’s are a popular thing these days?
