I’ve loved video games for as long as I can remember. Recently found a love for reporting video game news and decided to start Games Bulletin, and have been enjoying every step of the journey.
Todd Howard Not Likely To Allow Another Outside Studio Fallout
Now this will divide some people, but Fallout: New Vegas is my personal favourite Fallout game. I loved the world the game was set-in, the character’s story and even the reputation system. However today us gamers learnt we will likely never get another Fallout created by a non-Bethesda studio.
Bethesda boss Todd Howard told The Guardian that it’s unlikely another Fallout game will be developed by a studio other than Bethesda, but it’s not completely out of the picture. Howard said:
“I wouldn’t say never … [But] now that our company is so big, it’s always better to keep stuff internal … it becomes less likely, but I could never say never. I thought the Obsidian guys did a fabulous job.”
While I’m gutted that we won’t get another New Vegas-esque, I am excited for Fallout: 76. I like the idea of a multiplayer focused entry in the series, and am sure Bethesda will deliver. Let me know what you think in the comments below, or tweet us @games_bulletin!
