EA have announced that The Sims 4 will be making its way to Xbox One and PS4 on November 17th.
The quirky life simulator has been available for PC since 2014 and console fans will soon be able to manage a sim family of their own. Players can create a sim of their own and build up amazing homes before embarking on a career and pursuing relationships.
Executive Producer, Lyndsay Pearson said:
“The addition of a console-version of The Sims 4 has been long-awaited by fans and newcomers alike, and we at Maxis are beyond excited to bring The Sims to new platforms. The game delivers a beautiful The Sims experience on console and comes packed with tons of the fan-favourite content, so players can look forward to the unique gameplay, self-expression, and fun that have come to be tent poles of The Sims brand. The possibilities to play with life are as endless as the players’ creativity.”
As with the PC version, players can create their own unique Sims, customising everything from hair style to fashion sense and even having an input into the sims’ life aspirations. Included is the room-based build mode in which players can design their dream home.
The console release will include the full PC title as well as extra content added post release, although a full list of what is included has not yet been released. The console version will also receive additional content through periodic game updates.
