The game The Last Guardian has been in the makings for quite some time now. The development has been in various stages since 2007. Despite all of the countless delays, the game has finally gone gold. But what does “Going Gold” mean? The term means that the game’s primary development has finished and that the game can finally be made into physical discs.
PlayStation boss, Shuhei Yoshida, confirmed in a tweet, “The Last Guardian has gone gold! I’m so excited for you all to finally experience it ˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖”
The game is about a young boy who ends up becoming friends with a giant half-bird-half-creature named Trico. The duo must work together to run away from the guards that are chasing them. The Player will manipulate Trico, such using food to lure him to a certain place, or to use it to reach high places.
The Last Guardian was set to release on the PS3, but due to all of the delays it got pushed back to the PS4. The game will release on December 6, it will cost £50 ($60)
