Street Fighter V Gets New Character And Daily Challenges

Capcom have released another update today for Street fighter V which includes a slew of new features and a new playable character.

The iconic brawler is bringing new character Urien to the mix, the sixth post launch character to be introduced to the roster. Urien was first introduced in Street Fighter 3: 2nd impact and will return in a pinstriped suit sporting a sinister smile. Urien’s move set features slow moving projectiles used to exert pressure on opponents and he has a range of high damage combos. He will be available to purchase using in game currency for 100,000 Fight Money or can be purchased instantly for £4.99/$5.99.

As well as a new character, the update bring more features to Street Fighter V. Daily targets have been introduced which will help players earn extra Fight Money, but each target has a time limit so players will need to log in to cash in on the rewards. A new offline verses CPU mode has also been added so players can hone their skills before taking on real people. The next and perhaps most interesting feature is the addition of environmental stage KO’s. This will allow players to humiliate opponents even further by ending the match in a weird and wonderful way and let’s face it, who doesn’t want to shoot Zangief out of a cannon!

More information on Urien and the other features can be found on the official Street Fighter V website.
