A Slew Of Telltale Games Announcements

Telltale fans rejoice! A slew of announcements have been made, and they’re all pretty awesome. Well I say a slew, t’s three. I’m not sure what legally constitutes as a “slew”. You can view a video update from Telltale Games below, or read the article! We’d prefer it if you read the article, but either is fine …

Batman Season 2 – The Enemy Within

Telltale Games, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have revealed that Season 2 of Telltale’s take on Batman will be releasing soon. Very soon actually. Like  August 8th. Episode 1 of Season 2 will be titled “The Enigma” and will be available for digital download on Xbox One, PS4, Mac and PC. Season 2 will also come to iOS and Android later this year. Season 2 will also be available as a “Season Pass Disc”, which will include Episode 1 of this season and the ability to download other episodes when they release. As always anyone can play this season, but those who played Season 1 will have their choices carried forward into this season.

“In this latest chapter, both Bruce Wayne and Batman will be forced into precarious new roles. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, but his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadow an even greater crisis. With the arrival of a ruthless federal agent and the return of a still nascent Joker, Batman must navigate uneasy alliances while Bruce Wayne undertakes a perilous series of deceptions. Which of Batman’s new allies will you choose to trust? And how deep into the darkness will you let Bruce descend?”

The Wolf Among Us – Season 2

The Wolf Among Us Season has also been confirmed. Season 2 of The Wolf Among Us is set to debut in 2018 and, as with Season 1 is based on Bill Willingham’s “Fables” comic book series.

“Though this new season has not yet been officially titled, it will debut in the second half of 2018 across all major gaming consoles and mobile gaming devices. This new season will begin a fresh story arc for its returning cast of characters, featuring the return of Adam Harringtonas Bigby Wolf and Erin Yvette as Snow White.”

The Walking Dead: The Final Season

Don’t worry that’s a working title. It’s set to release in 2018 and is development now. As many people thought it would, this fourth and final season is set to star Clementine as the lead character.

“It’s going to be an amazing experience. Thank you all so much, from the bottom of my heart,” said Melissa Hutchison, the award-winning actress who has been the voice of ‘Clementine’ since 2012. “It’s been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, and so much love has been behind this whole experience. Good luck, I’ll be right there with you.”

This final season will release on PC, Mac, Android and iOS. Other platforms are “yet to be announced”.
