Capcom have confirmed several new details about the Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour demo at the Tokyo games show. The demo will receive an update, dubbed the “Twilight” version that will allow players to explore more of the spooky derelict mansion.
The demo has created quite a buzz about the newest instalment of the popular zombie survival game and has reached over 3 million downloads so far. A new trailer for Resident Evil 7 is available at Capcom’s website (and below) which invites you for dinner with the terrifying Baker family. The very creepy trailer shows some of the intense combat that will come with the full release as well as showcasing the first person view which is new for the core series.
Resident Evil 7 is available for pre-order and will come in standard and deluxe editions. The deluxe edition will retail at $89.99 (around £68) and will include the main title and a season pass which will grant access to all 3 additional story episodes. Pre-order customers of both versions will receive a Survival Pack which contains consumable healing items, an early unlock of the Madhouse mode and a Lucky Coin in game defence item.
Resident Evil 7 will be coming to PS4 (and PlayStation VR), Xbox One and Steam on January 24th 2017.
