Rainbow Six Siege fans rejoice (kinda ..). A post of the Rainbow 6 subreddit has revealed that a fix to the “Jäger glitch” is being deployed. Ubisoft’s Community Manager made the announcement which stated:
“As promised yesterday, we have finished validating the potential fix for the Jäger glitch. The fix works, and we are in the process of preparing a build to be deployed next week. We do not have an exact date for this deployment yet, but are targeting earlier in the week.”
However, the post finishes by saying that this fix will only be available to PC users. Console players will have to wait until the next scheduled patch, which is Mid-Season Reinforcements. This is reportedly due to aspects outside of Ubisoft’s control, meaning the patch can’t be released at this point in the year. PC users should see the fix being deployed from next week.
For those unaware, the Jäger glitch involves the player pressing a series of buttons resulting in Jäger having a ballistic shield on his head. It’s a glitch that has reportedly been in the game for a while, so is this too little too late? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or tweet us @games_bulletin!
