Rainbow Six Siege Gets Second Year Of Content

Ubisoft have revealed via a tweet that they will be supporting Rainbow Six Siege with another year of content. This is slightly surprising. Most games receive only a year of post release content before they are dropped for newer projects. Rainbow Six Siege is one of a lucky few to received prolonged support.

However the support isn’t actually that surprising when you look at the statistics. According to SteamCharts.com┬áSiege has had an average of just over 11,000 players in the last 30 days, and has had consistently over 10,000 average players since July 2016. It is unknown what the new content will be but I personally am expecting new maps, modes and operators.

What do you think of this news? Are you still enjoying Siege? Let us know in the comments.
