Papers, Please Is Getting A Short Film Adaptation

Popular “Dystopian Document Thriller” Papers, Please is set to get a short movie adaptation. While not much is known about the movie, we do know that the movie is being made by graduates of Moscow Institute of Television. What has been shown of the movie looks really good, and even has the blessing of the developer Lucas Pope. Pope developed Papers, Please and tweeted the below images.

Personally I am also dubious about video game movies, but this one has me interested. The game has 20 possible endings, so it will be interesting to see how the team play out the game in the movie. Nonetheless I will be keeping an eye out for this. Will a Papers, Please movie work? Let me know your thoughts in the comments, or tweet usĀ @games_bulletin!
