Two Overwatch players have ended up in an interesting place after glitching their way through the Nepal level. Abilities like Reaper’s Shadow Step and Widowmaker’s Grappling Hook have always allowed players to end up in some interesting places but as you can see in the video below, this one was particularly impressive!
Nepal usually consists of several stages at different heights of a mountain terrain played one after the other. All of these are loaded in at the same time and YouTube user Hulkman503 has found a way of getting from one area to the other in the middle of a match.
One of the two players in the video comment that everything is loaded, including health packs scattered around the map although you can’t interact with the Control Points.
One of the players comments on the usefulness of being able to access these areas:
“Doing this is useless unless you do…” the player started. “No, never mind. Don’t listen to me rambling. It’s completely useless.”
Although useless, it’s always fun to get somewhere you shouldn’t be in games. You can also switch characters while you are down there and use Symmetra’s ultimate to teleport your whole team down there, which is sure to make you popular. Blizzard are likely going to release a patch soon (if they haven’t already) in order to stop the glitch so act now if you want to try it.
