No Man’s Sky PC Release Delayed By 3 Days

No Man’s Sky dev Hello Games have confirmed the release date of the PC version and it will be delayed, but only by 3 days. There has been some confusion in the last few weeks due to the games official website and the date on the games Steam page differing, but this has now been clarified.

This means that the PC version will be coming on August 12th, with the PS4 version hitting shelves on the 9th. Hello Games founder Sean Murray tweeted confirmation of the delay:

In a follow up tweet, Murray provided a further explanation as to why the date changed;

No Man’s Sky has been a long time coming, with a range of issues starting off with a 2-month delay. Hello games also fought a legal battle with Sky on the naming rights before hitting another snag involving a patent issue a few weeks ago. This all looks to be behind them though and fans will be able to get their hands on the long awaited title this week.
