‘New Game Plus’ Mode Added To Dishonored 2

It has been revealed via a press release that a New Game Plus mode has been added to Dishonored 2. The additional mode came as part of the game’s first free update, which is now available worldwide for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. New Game Plus is available after the player completes the game as either Corvo or Emily. New Game Plus allows the player to play the game from the beginning, with either player, and have full access to all of the character’s abilities as well as all of the Bonecharm Traits and Runes that were collected in the previous playthrough. These can then be re-assigned to any chosen powers.

The press release goes on to add:

“Even more options to customize your experience will arrive in January with the game’s second free update that will include two new features: Mission Select and additional Custom Difficulty Settings that further tailor to your playstyle and adjust the challenge based on a wide array of settings. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more details on the second free update.”

It seems that Dishonored 2 is really attempting to keep players playing. Are you enjoying the game? Have you stopped playing or do you feel it’s worthy of it’s “Best Action-Adventure Game”? Let us know in the comments!
