The team behind the Remastered Crash Bandicoot games released a comparison video of the Un-Bearable level from Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back on the official YouTube channel. This can be seen below;
The comparison video showcases the differences in the lighting and the textures, and also shows the move to a more realistic art style. This is not the first video released onto the official Crash Bandicoot channel in regards to the N. Sane Trilogy. With a previous side by side comparison of Cortex Power Transformation being released as well as a Sewer Or Later playthrough (this was not a side by side comparison).
The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy launches on Playstation 4 on 20th June, and will include the first three games from the series which were released on the original Playstation – but these are being made by Vicarious Visions and not Naughty Dog. However, Vicarious Visions used the original games’ level geometry, but have announced that the gameplay is rebuilt from the ground up. Although the original three titles were exclusive to Sony and the Playstation, it is reported that the N. Sane Trilogy might not be.
