Gerard Guillemot, Chief Executive Officer, Ubisoft Motion Pictures said on the project;

“We are excited to collaborate with Jessica and Jake, two of Hollywood’s most talented actors and perfect creative collaborators to help bring Tom Clancy’s The Division to the big screen.”

This is one of a growing list of movies based on games from Ubisoft Motion Pictures. Rabbids, Watch dogs and Ghost Recon are in the works as well as a Splinter Cell movie with Tom Hardy attached. Assassin’s Creed starring Michael Fassbender is another of their projects in collaboration with New Regency and has completed principal photography.

Video Game movies don’t have the greatest track record; do you think Ubisoft can turn it around? Will you be seeing any of these films? Let us know in the comments section below!
