Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeros is the first part of a two-part game called Metal Gear Solid V. Ground Zero takes place in 1975, it focuses on Big Boss, a legendary hero, as he infiltrates a secret prison camp in Cuba called ‘Camp Omega’ on a rescue mission. He finds himself alone behind enemy lines with a mission that shows advances in the Metal Gear V series.
In Metal Gear Solid V: Phantom Pain, which is the biggest and most ambitious edition to date, continues the story about Big Boss. It is set in an open world environment and it brings realistic weather patterns with day/night cycles. As a result of this, players will have to change their play type to adapt to the games ever changing environment. Because of this it creates a unique play experience for everyone. It also brings back close-quarter combat, but with more advanced way of doing it, improved enemy AI. In addition to that, it brings a new Metal Gear Online experience as well.
Metal Gear Online was built around a squad based multiplayer structure. It introduces a Tactical Team Operation and features a ‘class system’ that more defines the strengths and abilities of players on the battlefield. You can choose from 3 unique classes: Scout, Enforcer and infiltrator.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Definitive Edition costs £41($50) for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 while it is £32($40) on Steam for PC version.
