IO interactive, the developers behind the Hitman reboot, have announced new content for Hitman which will be released in support of the World Cancer Research Fund.
The content will arrive next week on December 13th and will be free for all Hitman Players. The mission is called ‘Holiday Hoarders’ and will be set in a festive themed Paris. The mission uses the Showstopper mission as a backdrop with the addition of Christmas trees, decorations and presents spread among the Palace. Two thieves have gained entrance to the fashion show and are stealing presents leaving Agent 47 to stop them. The presents scattered throughout the mission will have useful items among them and Santa himself will make an appearance.
Hannes Seifert, Studio Head at Io-Interactive had a few words to say about the collaboration:
“Cancer is something which affects everyone in one way or another at some point in their lives and we at IOI wanted to do something to help raise money for Cancer research. We’re supporting World Cancer Research Fund by giving away some fun free Holiday content to all Hitman players and we ask you in return if you want to donate to a great cause, to give what you can via WCRF-UK.ORG/HITMAN.”
It’s always nice to see some free content, especially around the holidays! Are you looking forward to it? Let us know in the comments section below!
