Today is May the 4th, a day well known to Star Wars fans (like myself) to celebrate all things Star Wars. And it appears that EA are no different when it comes to celebrating Star Wars.
A blog post by EA Executive Vice President Patrick Soderlund has revealed that Titanfall developer have teamed up with EA to create an “all-new 3rd person action adventure game set in the Star Wars universe”. The post goes on to state that:
“Over the past few years, I’ve had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Vince Zampella and his group. Their obsession with making games that feel amazing has helped make Titanfall one of the most successful new game launches of this generation. And now, with a new team led by Stig Asmussen, we get to see what they can do when you combine that great attention to gameplay with the power of Star Wars.”
Vince Zampella founded Respawn Entertainment after leaving Call of Duty creator Infinity Ward back in 2010. Stig Asmussen currently works at Respawn Entertainment, after leaving SCE Santa Monica Studio. Asmussen is known for his work on the God of War series.
What do you guys think this untitled project could be? Could it be Star Wars 1313? Or another unknown Star Wars project? Let us know your predictions in the comments!
