Dead Island Definitive Collection “Dead Facts” Trailer

Deep Silver and Techland have released a new gameplay trailer for Dead Island Definitive Collection. This trailer highlights the glorious goriness showcased in this remastered version of Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide. With a visual and performance overhaul this trailer shows off the cutting edge current generation graphical effects.

Game textures have been redone in a higher resolution and the level of quality has been improved overall. The lighting in the game has also been vastly improved on, providing a more realistic look to this beautiful island setting. The introduction to Horizon based Ambient Occlusion adds an extra layer of depth and realism to the world of Dead Island. The updated game UI provides a more consistent and seamless look between both Dead Island and Dead Island Riptide. The Dead Island Definitive Collection will also take advantage of all the current generation console experiences. Features such as 4 player online co-op, PS-Vita remote play, (PS4) Share Play, streaming an recording will be available. Last but certainly not least the unofficial PC mod, Power Fist Power-up,  will also be added to both products so fans can enjoy punching their way through the mayhem with this crazy power-up.

Dead Island Definitive Collection is a compilation containing: Dead Island Definitive Edition, Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition, and for free the Dead Island Retro Revenge.

Dead Island Definitive Collection will be available on May 31 2016 for $39.99/€39.99/£29.99. Available at the same time Dead Island Definitive Edition and Dead Island Riptide Definitive Edition will be available separately as a digital download for $19.99/€19.99/£14.99.

Dead Island was originally released on September 6, 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC with its sequel Dead Island Riptide releasing on April 23, 2013.
