Welcome to the Daily Bulletin for 29th August! This article will sum up some of the news stories from today, and hopefully will help keep you up to date. Let’s crack on with it!
Switchblade Enters Early Access
The team based MOBA Switchblade is now in Early Access on PS4 and PC. Switchblade is set in a futuristic world that pits two teams of 5 against one another in an all-out arena fight. Players can change between their two vehicles on the fly, something that is very handy to do. Steam players, and those of you with PS Plus, can get a 20% discount on launch.
Being an Early Access purchaser will give you access to the Founders Pack which includes; 16 vehicles, 16 exclusive Founders vehicle skins, a 3 day currency boost and 500 in-game currency. As well as all of this, those of you on PS Plus will receive a VIP pack with VIP skins for 6 of the vehicles. The Early Access trailer is available below.
Tokyo Ghoul [:re birth] To Hit Mobile This Autumn
Bandai Namco have announced an upcoming mobile game based on the hit anime Tokyo Ghoul. The game, which is set to be a free game, allows players to fight the war between Ghouls and Humans. Android users can pre-register to keep up to date with news of the game’s release. Fans can battle alongside Haise Sasaki and Quinx from the latest Tokyo Ghoul:re series, as well as iconic characters such as Ken Kaneki, Kisho Arima and others from the first two seasons. The game promises an in-depth levelling system, a character roster of over 100 characters and seasonal conquests that see players automatically divided between the Ghouls and Humans as they fight for control of Tokyo.
Ace Combat 7 & SoulCaliber VI Playable At EGX
Those of you attending EGX in September will be the first in the UK to play Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown. Players can also play an exclusive new version of SoulCaliber VI featuring Geralt of The Witcher 3. There’s also a playable demo of Jump Force which looks amazing!
What did you guys think of today’s stories? I loved Switchblade when I played it at EGX last year, and am looking forward to getting this in Early Access. I’m also looking forward to playing Jump Force at EGX, so should be a good year at the NEC! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, or tweet us @games_bulletin!
